Easy No-Bake Healthy Recipe: Rough & Honest Date Bars

no-fuss, soul-satisfying treat that even the pickiest eaters will admire— a recipe that knows exactly what it is: raw, messy, indulgent, and made with ingredients you’ve got lying around

This is the kind of no-fuss, soul-satisfying treat that even the pickiest eaters will admire— a recipe that knows exactly what it is: raw, messy, indulgent, and made with ingredients you’ve got lying around. (except the dates)

Recipe:

Ingredients (makes 8-10 bars)

Directions:

1. Line a small tray or plate with parchment paper. Flatten your pitted dates into rough ovals think lazy pancakes.

2. Spread each one with a generous swoosh of peanut butter.

3. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top, pressing lightly so they stick.

4. Scatter nuts and seeds like you mean it; the crunch makes the experience.

5. Finish with a whisper of coarse sea salt.

6. Chill in the fridge for 15–20 minutes, if you can wait that long. Or eat one right away and call it quality control.

These might not look perfect, but they taste like the road: sticky fingers, deep flavors, zero pretense.
